The X Factor finalist Chris Rene premieres the music video for “Young Homie,” the lead single from his forthcoming debut album.  If you follow me on Twitter, you know I’ve never been a fan of Mr. Rene’s “talent”, nor do I believe he deserves a record deal. That said,  I respect him for overcoming his addictions and making good of his life. He isn’t my cup of tea, but whatevs.

X Factor’s Rachel Crow Lands Nickelodeon & Columbia Records Deal

The X Factor fan favorite Rachel Crow might have lost the battle, but it looks like she’ll win the war.

The 14-year-old singer has landed a Nickelodeon TV deal and Columbia Records contract, according to reports. Crow scored a talent deal with Nickelodeon that includes a recurring role on comedy series, Fred: The Show, and her own musical comedy series pilot. In addition, she has been signed by Columbia Records in partnership with her X Factor coach Simon Cowell‘s company, Syco.
