Brother duo Jake&Papa, formerly of R&B group Brutha (best known from BET’s “Brother to Brutha”), cater to the ladies on “Summertime Fine,” the first single from their new mixtape “Westernplayalisticamaromuzic,” available August 21.
“With Summertime Fine we wanted to capture the feeling we get during one of these California summertime days when all the ladies are out – vintage Levis cut offs or them sundresses – that just accentuate the female body so nicely,” they said. “The song is about having fun and giving you these fine Cali summer high points from a player’s point of view.”
