B-Rocka gets close with her collaborator and co-star Chris Brown, rocks ’90s styled braids and shows her moves, courtesy of fame choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. (Michael Jackson, Beyoncè), in front of two Ferraris in the latest shots.

Earlier in the week, I posted a video of Dawn Richard performing an acoustic version of “Automatic”for the first time. Well, it was so nice the former Danity Kane diva had to do it twice. Dawn closed out her set at BMI’s “Next Fresh Thing” showcase at the Viper Room in L.A. last night with another stirring acoustic rendition of the track.
Check out Bobby V’s new music video for “Mirror” featuring Lil Wayne, the lead single from his upcoming album Dusk Til Dawn (Oct.2).
Since leaving Bad Boy, Dawn Richard has made major moves. During a recent appearance on KIIS FM’s “New Music Show,” the New Orleans native discussed her independently-released EP Armor On, which topped the iTunes R&B Albums chart, her solo debut album GoldenHeart, and performed an acoustic version of “Automatic” for the first time.

Fans at Washington D.C.’s Howard Theater were treated to Brandy’s first live performance of “Put It Down,” the lead single from her upcoming sixth album Two Eleven, last night. The 90s powerhouse commanded the stage with her crisp live vocals and booty-poppin’ choreography. It’s clear Frank Gatson, Beyoncé’s longtime choreographer who’s responsible for Bran’s moves in the still-unreleased “Put It Down” music video, has taught the “Full Moon” singer a thing or two about selling an 8-count and owning the stage.
It’s refreshing to Brandy FINALLY promoting her Chris Brown-assisted single that’s been available on iTunes since May, even if only through radio promo. Baby steps. Next, she’ll have to follow-up the underperforming track with something to really make people want to shell out $9.99 when her album drops. By the way, there’s no better time than the present to release the video, Bran. Just sayin’.
Nelly Furtado becomes one with nature in the video for “Spirit Indestructible,” the title track and second single from her upcoming new album, due September 18. The nature-themed clip finds the ‘Like A Bird” singer performing the empowering cut on the beach and peaks of Grouse Mountain in Vancouver.
