New Music| Ester Dean -‘Baby Making Love’

Ester Dean, the 26-year-old hitmaker who has written hits for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, takes it to the bedroom on “Baby Making Love.”

“Make me scream/Make me shout/Make me love it/Turn me out,” sings Dean on the sexy cut. No word on if “Baby Making Love” will be included on her debut album, due later this year via Interscope Records.

That damn DEAN! “Baby Making Love” is a dope record; it makes you wonder if it was originally written for another artist or always intended to for the Oklahoma native. Either way, I like it. As far as her solo career goes, it will be interesting to see what becomes of it. We know she can craft hits for others so we can only hope that transfers to her own music.

Listen to “Baking Making Love” below.

New Music: Nicki Minaj – “Starships”

After jumping out the window with “Stupid Hoe” and playing herself at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Nicki Minaj seems to realize what her focus should be  for her sophomore album — to capitalize off the new audience “Super Bass” opened for her. Young Money’s First Lady goes to the electro-pop route with “Starships,” the new single from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, due April 3.

Produced by RedOne, “Starships” is sure to become a massive hit for the Grammy-nominated star. “‘Starships’ is one of my absolute, absolute favorite records on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It just sounds like a Ryan Seacrest-type of record. And I’m so excited for you to give this song your blessing, Ryan, because I know people are gonna love it. It feels right. It just feels good, she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. “It makes people feel happy and that’s all I want. I want to start the year off with making people feel good. The [Grammy] performance was the performance, that was my clear craziness, and now it’s time to make people dance and have fun, and that’s all I want to do.”
