Beyoncè Leads Cast of Animated Film ‘Epic’


Ahead of her leading role in the Clint Eastwood-directed reboot of A Star is Born, Beyoncé will lend her voice to the 3D CG-animated film Epic.

The singer-actress, whose film résumé includes Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Dreamgirls (2006) and Obsessed (2009), will play Queen Tara in the 20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios production, which is being developed by the makers of Ice Age and Rio, according to Deadline.com.

Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys & Coldplay Headline 2011 iHeartRadio Music Festival


Clear Channel is ready to blow the lid off the festival game!

Lady Gaga, Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney and Nicki Minaj are some of the artists set to grace the stage at Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio Music Festival. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the two-day festival takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 23 and 24.

This is a once in a generation gathering of artists and fans from all over the country for a true, must-see music event,” said Seacrest. “The iHeartRadio Music Festival, like the iHeartRadio digital radio service, will showcase top artists across all genres of music. Listeners from all over America will travel to Las Vegas to celebrate the next generation of iHeart Radio, while seeing the greatest musicians in the world on one stage.”

Tickets are available for pre-sale via the iHeartRadio Facebook page and will go on sale to the general public on July 16 at 1:00 p.m. ET at iHeartRadio.com with the keyword “Vegas.”

Diddy-Dirty Money & Skylar Grey Perform on ‘Idol’

To promote their upcoming Coming Home Tour, Diddy-Dirty Money took the stage on American Idol to perform their platinum-certified single “Coming Home” with Skylar Grey, who joined them on the piano and provided additional vocals.  The trio begins their 20-city trek April 13  in Minneapolis, playing shows in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York , before wrapping in St. Louis in May.  R&B crooner Lloyd will join Diddy-Dirty Money on the road this spring. He will perform new material from his upcoming fourth studio album King of Hearts, including “Lay It Down” and his new Polow Da Don-produced single “Cupid.

Report: ‘American Idol’ Signs Steven Tyler As New Judge


Legendary rocker Steven Tyler has reportedly signed a deal to become a judge on the next season of American Idol according to Billboard. Fox has yet to comment on the Aerosmith front-man’s official status, however two sources close to the situation are confirming that Tyler has inked a deal to join the show.

Tyler has been at the center of speculation that he would replace Simon Cowell for the show’s upcoming 10th season. In a video posted by TMZ last week, Tyler said that the Fox show had to “ lay out the bread” to sign him for the show’s upcoming 10th season.
