Hip-hop collective Odd Future recently clocked time with world-renowned photographer Terry Richardson. Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and the rest group, which looks to include an infinite amount of members, take center stage in the unconventional photoshoot.

Some lucky soul got their hands on a physical copy of Frank Ocean’s channel, Orange, which includes unreleased tracks and b-sides, and unleashed “Golden Girl,” featuring Tyler, The Creator.
Unlike “Bad Religion,” where he discusses unrequited love with a man, Frank sings about an island girl he has to leave behind when he returns to America on the newly leaked cut. “My flight leaves tonight, but I don’t think I’m going backwards. I’m only going backwards. You’re the one I’ve chosen, girl. You’re a golden girl. 24K. The sun has been kind to ya,” he sings.
channel, Orange has garnered rave reviews from fans and critics alike and is projected to debut strong next week based on digital sales. The album arrived a week ahead of schedule early Tuesday morning to coincide with his appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Beyoncè is the latest of Frank Ocean’s peers to show their support for the singer-songwriter, who revealed earlier this week that his first love was a man.
On her website, the “Crazy in Love” singer posted a black-and-white picture of Ocean with a poem of sorts, acknowledging his bravery and courage. “Be fearless / Be honest / Be generous / Be brave / Be poetic / Be open / Be free / Be yourself / Be in love / Be happy / Be inspiration,” she wrote.
Beyoncè shared a similar sentiment last year in an interview with Pridesource.com, showing her admiration for the LGBT community. “If anyone is brave and true to themselves, it’s my gay fans. The amount of confidence and fearlessness it takes to do what maybe is not what your parents expect you to do or what society may think is different – to be brave and be different and to be yourself – is just so beautiful. It’s the most beautiful thing you can be, and it’s what we all want to be at the end of the day. And not worrying about satisfying or becoming what other people think you’re supposed to be, that’s like the ultimate dream – to just be that brave.”

Frank Ocean opts for simplicity on the cover art for his Def Jam debut Channel Orange. The follow-up to his critical acclaimed Nostalgia, Ultra mixtape features guest spots from André 3000 (“Pink Matter”), John Mayer (“White”), and his Odd Future cohort Earl Sweatshirt (“Super Rich Kids”). The 17-track project arrives on July 17.

After Def Jam delayed the release of Nostalgia, Ultra, Frank Ocean took matters into his own hands, releasing the album for free on his website. The buzz generated by the freebie has caused the label to take notice and has decided to release it in stores.
The album hits stores July 26, while the Tricky Stewart-produced “Novacane” hits iTunes on May 31st. No word on which songs will make the commercial release and if there will be new tracks added.
