Video: Nas performs ‘Daughters’ on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’


On the eve of the release of his tenth album Life Is Good, Nas hit the stage on Late Night with David Letterman to perform “Daughters.”  The Illmatic rapper looked dapper in a collared shirt and white pants as he spit the lyrics to the third single from his new album, which hit stores today.

J. Cole Rocks with The Roots on ‘Jimmy Fallon’


J. Cole continued his promo grind with an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night.  The Roc Nation rapper, who is nominated for Best New Artist at next weekend’s Grammys, performed “Can’t Get Enough” from his gold-certified debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. With The Roots providing the backing music, J. Cole delivers another great live performance. Watch below.

Wale & Miguel Bring “Lotus Flower Bomb” to ‘Late Night’


 

Wale hit the late-night circuit to perform the number one R&B song in the country, “Lotus Flower Bomb,” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  Backed by The Legendary Roots Crew,  Wale rocked the crowd with Miguel, who sported a white t-shirt and suspenders, over the soulful track from his sophomore album Ambition.

Common & The Roots ‘Celebrate’ on ‘Late Night’


Common took break from his Drake bashing schedule to perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. With The Roots providing the instrumentation, Common ripped the stage with the feel-good tune “Celebrate,” the fourth single from his latest disc The Dreamer/The Believer.

Lady Gaga Pulls Double Duty On “So You Think You Can Dance” + “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”


She may truly be the hardest working woman in show business after pulling double duty last night (July 28).  First she hit the stage on Fox’sSo You Think You Can Dance,” where she served as a guest judge the night before.  Giving a first hand lesson to the contestants of the dance competition, Gaga rocked the house, performing “The Edge of Glory” and “Yoü and I.”

Later in the night, the Born This Way diva tore down the streets of Hollywood with a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” as she once again performed “The Edge of Glory” and “Yoü and I” on the outdoor stage. While at Kimmel, she also talked about getting nominated for five Emmys, bowling in heels, and more.  Watch the performances and interview after the jump.
