Keri Hilson Talks Third Album, Says New Music is ‘Emotional’


Following the release of her gold-certified debut, which earned her two Grammy nominations, the possibilities seemed endless for Keri Hilson.  Though it had some gems (“Beautiful Mistake,” “All the Boys“),  the material on No Boys Allowed, her sophomore album, moved the singer-songwriter to the back of the line.

Taking time to recharge her physical and creative batteries, Keri says she begun working on her next project.  In a recent interview with AOL’s The Boombox, Keri shed some light on where she’s headed creativity with her junior set.

Album Review: Keri Hilson – “No Boys Allowed”


Keri Hilson attempts to avoid the dreaded sophomore slump with the release of No Boys Allowed. Following the moderate success of her debut disc, In A Perfect World…, which resulted in gold certification and two Grammy nominations including a nod for Best New Artist, Hilson tries to transition for mid-level superstar to multi-platinum sensation, but falls short.
