MMG’s leader claims his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as God Forgives, I Don’t opens in the top spot with his largest opening-week sum.
Hip-Hop’s reigning king of radio, Rick Ross, doesn’t deviate from his proven formula on his fifth album God Forgives I Don’t, released July 31 via Maybach Music Group/Def Jam Records.
Filled with an array of high-profile collaborations that range from hip-hop’s elite Jay-Z and Dr. Dre (“3 Kings”), Nas (“Triple Beam Dreams”), and André 3000 (“Sixteen”) to his MMG cohorts — Meek Mill (“So Sophisticated”), Wale (“Diced Pineapples”), Stalley (“Ten Jesus Pieces”) and Omarion (“Ice Cold”) — God Forgives I Don’t (GFID) has all the ingredients to take crown for hip-hop album of the year; unfortunately for Ross that crown still rests safely with Nas’ recently-released Life Is Good.
Bow in the presence of royalty. Rick Ross links with hip-hop icons Dr. Dre and Jay-Z on “3 Kings.” Produced by Jake One, the ode to opulence will appear on Rozay’s God Forgives, I Don’t, due July 31. Listen below.

Described as “extremely lyrical” and “next level” by Rozay himself, the album arrives in stores July 31. Thus far four “singles” have been released from the set, including the promo tracks “You the Boss” featuring Nicki Minaj, “I Love My Bitches” and the Meek Mill-assisted “So Sophisticated,” while “Touch’n You” featuring Usher is pegged as the set’s lead cut.
Departing from his usual street anthems, Rick Ross caters to the ladies on his new single, “Touch’N You” featuring Usher. With Rico Love at the production helm, “Touch’N You” is sure to become a hit on radio this summer. Ross and Usher also recently teamed up for “Lemme See,” the latest single from Usher’s new album. Rozay’s fifth studio album, God Forgives, I Don’t, arrives July 31 via Def Jam Records.
Just hours after reportedly suffering a seizure, Rick Ross gets back to business. In a video posted online, cameras follow Ross on his private jet on his way to Memphis where he is performing tonight and opening a new Wingstop restaurant tomorrow.
While he doesn’t mention the health scare, Rozay takes time out to plug his new album God Forgives, I Don’t and Wale’s Maybach Music release Ambition.
