We can all agree that Beyoncé is one of the world’s most beautiful women, but now it’s official! The international superstar and new mom has been named ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’ by People magazine.
People’s senior editor Alexis Chiu revealed the cover girl this morning (April 25) on TODAY. She told Matt Lauer and Ann Curry that Beyoncé is “flawless, she’s gorgeous, she’s at the top of her game career-wise, she’s this music icon at 30 years old and on top of it she has this glow going on … She’s a new mom.” Though its Beyoncé’s first time winning the crown, this marks her ninth time on the list.
Inside the double cover issue, the “Run The World” singer opens up about the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy. “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth,” she said.

“Crazy in Love” (Live at Glastonbury 2011)
Her album is the world’s best-selling album of the year and he’s the world’s biggest Hip-Hop – could a Jay-Z/Adele collaboration be in the works?
While Beyoncé wowed the crowd at Glastonbury, Jay-Z was all business, apparently meeting up with UK-born singer Adele to discuss a possible collaboration. A source close to the Brooklyn-bred mogul told The Sun, “He’s keen to work with her, whether it’s producing or writing together. She was a huge hit in the States and he believes they could make a massive record together.”
Adele’s 21 is the year’s best-selling album. The set, led by the juggernaut single “Rolling in the Deep,” has sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Jay-Z is prepping the release of his collaboration album with Kanye West, Watch The Throne. The hotly anticipated disc is due out before summer’s end.
“Rolling in the Deep” meets “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” maybe?
After yesterday’s career-defining performance, Beyoncé sat down with BBC’s Lauren Laverne and Jo Whiley to discuss the highlights of her show. The “Run The World” singer is the first Black woman to headline the concert. 4 drops tomorrow.
