After seducing on the 90s-flavored “Baby Making Love,” Ester Dean unleashes her hood side on the bass-heavy “Bam Bam.”
The singer-songwriter, who’s penned hits for Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Katy Perry, makes no apologizes on the in-your-face track from her debut album, due later this year via Interscope Records.
Ester Dean, the 26-year-old hitmaker who has written hits for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, takes it to the bedroom on “Baby Making Love.”
“Make me scream/Make me shout/Make me love it/Turn me out,” sings Dean on the sexy cut. No word on if “Baby Making Love” will be included on her debut album, due later this year via Interscope Records.
That damn DEAN! “Baby Making Love” is a dope record; it makes you wonder if it was originally written for another artist or always intended to for the Oklahoma native. Either way, I like it. As far as her solo career goes, it will be interesting to see what becomes of it. We know she can craft hits for others so we can only hope that transfers to her own music.
Listen to “Baking Making Love” below.
Less than 24 hours after her reliving her journey on Behind The Music, Brandy opens a new chapter with “Put It Down,” the lead single from her upcoming album Two Eleven, her debut on RCA/Chameleon Records.
Featuring a verse from her labelmate Chris Brown, “Put It Down” is a hard-hitting love song with all the makings of a hit. Unlike anything in her catalog, Brandy’s comeback is off to a good start with the Sean Garrett-penned cut.
The single hits iTunes on May 8, and precedes the album which features production from Timbaland, Mario Winans, Danja, Hit-Boy, Noah “40” Shebib, Rico Love, Ester Dean and Frank Ocean.
Does Nicki Minaj catch the sophomore jinx on Roman Reloaded?
Nicki Minaj gets into her R&B bag on “Right By My Side,” a new track from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, featuring Chris Brown. “I’m not livin’ life/I’m livin’ right/I’m not livin’ if you’re not by my side,” the Grammy-nominated rapper sings on the hook. “Right By My Side” won’t go down as Nicki’s best work, but the radio-friendly cut will certainly become a mainstay on your favorite Urban stations. Is it just me or has Kelly been a little too available for these collaborations?
Sean Paul snags Kelly Rowland for “How Deep Is Your Love,” a new Stargate-produced track from his new album Tomahawk Technique. With Kelly handling the hook, “How Deep Is Your Love” could be a sleeper hit. Tomahawk Technique arrives in stores on Valentine’s Day. Side note: Sean Paul can miss me with this album title and cover.
