When Beyoncé proclaimed she was ‘back to business’ just before her four-night stint at Revel Resort in May, she wasn’t lying. Mrs. Jay-Z is reportedly shopping a documentary — she directed, produced and of course starred in — to studios.
Roc Nation’s latest potential golden goose, Rita Ora, does little to silence the Rihanna comparisons with the rock-infused “Roc the Life.”
“Kick a motherfucker to the cizzurb / you think you crazy, I’m bizarre” she sings on the drum-led cut, co-written and featuring vocals from The-Dream, which will appear on her Roc Nation debut ORA, due August 27 in the U.K.
In a new video released by the Obama 2012 campaign, Beyoncè praises First Lady Michelle Obama for being a role model to women all over the world. “Every time I see her, she inspires me, she empowers me, she encourages me,” the “Run The World” singer shares, as she reads a letter she wrote and posted on her website in April.
Fresh off his stint as the opening act for Beyoncè’s “Back to Business” concerts, Luke James drops a steamy new video for “Mo’ Better Blues.” James released the sultry cut in April to build anticipation for his debut album, due later this year via Island Def Jam Music Group. As I type this post, a few thousand are watching Beyoncè make her triumphant return to the stage, at opening night of her shows at Revel Resorts in Atlantic City.

Beyoncé treats fans with an inside look at her comeback shows at Atlantic City’s Revel Resorts. In the footage, the pop star preps lighting cues, rehearses musical and vocal arrangements, modifies the stage design, and practices choreography for the sold out series of concerts.
“It is exciting. I feel a little nervous. I’m enjoying being a mother so it’s like going back to my old job. It’s a little strange, but it’s important that you don’t lose yourself and still have your own passions. I’m back to business,” the 16-time Grammy Award winner said.
Bey’s four-night stint at Revel begins tomorrow and runs through Memorial Day.
