It’s no secret that over the years Kanye West and the members of the media have developed a love/hate relationship — they LOVE to see him slipping and he HATES them (some) to the core. Whatever the case, Kanye and I share a similar hatred (well, mine is more like a strong dislike) for gossip site MediaTakeOut.
During his show at Revel Resort in Atlantic City over the weekend, Ye shared his disdain for the gossip site. “Just look at MediaTakeOut, they so f*ckin’ full of sh*t. Show your mothaf*ckin’ face, so I could smack the sh*t out of you,” he yelled.
Revel announced today that the hip-hop superstar will play two exclusive performances at Ovation Hall inside the billion-dollar resort on July 6 and 7, marking his first solo shows since Coachella 2011 and first solo performance ever in Atlantic City.
Designed by Cirque du Soleil veterans Scèno Plus, Ovation Hall provides fans with an up-close-and-personal concert experience with the artist. West follows Beyoncè, who played the venue during the resort’s premiere on Memorial Day weekend.
Tickets for West’s shows go on sale Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. EST at Ticketmaster.com.
As I type this post, a few thousand are watching Beyoncè make her triumphant return to the stage, at opening night of her shows at Revel Resorts in Atlantic City.
Thankfully, those in attendance were gracious enough to snap a few pics of Queen Bey rocking out.

This show looks AMAZING!!!! (Oprah’s voice)
Beyoncé treats fans with an inside look at her comeback shows at Atlantic City’s Revel Resorts. In the footage, the pop star preps lighting cues, rehearses musical and vocal arrangements, modifies the stage design, and practices choreography for the sold out series of concerts.
“It is exciting. I feel a little nervous. I’m enjoying being a mother so it’s like going back to my old job. It’s a little strange, but it’s important that you don’t lose yourself and still have your own passions. I’m back to business,” the 16-time Grammy Award winner said.
Bey’s four-night stint at Revel begins tomorrow and runs through Memorial Day.
Shortly after Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards last August, rumors of her using a fake baby bump and a surrogate ran rampant. Like most rumors involving the global superstar, the accusations have not died down, even after the birth of Blue Ivy Carter in January.
“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” People’s “Most Beautiful Woman” told the magazine in an interview, saying: “Where did they come up with this?”
More fuel was added to the faux-bump rumors after video of her interview with the Australian talk show Sunday Night HD hit the web, where her stomach appeared to deflate as she sat down to speak with the host.
“Stupid, ridiculous and false,” her publicist said in a statement last October. “It was a fabric that folded – does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid,” she said.
While the allegations didn’t seem to bother Beyoncé, her mom Tina Knowles took it personally.
“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months,” said the House of Dereon designer. “As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”
Even with Beyoncé finally speaking out about the fake bump and surrogate rumors, the conspiracy theorists won’t rest until they’re giving video proof that Blue Ivy resided in the Holy Uterus and can examine the afterbirth. Meanwhile, B is gearing up for her three-night stint at Revel, Atlantic City’s newest resort, during Memorial Day weekend.
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were spotted headed into an office building today (March 27) in NYC. With Mama Tina by her side, Bey kept the heir to the Knowles-Carter empire warm in a fur baby sling. Wait until PETA gets wind of this.
The “Love On Top” singer is gearing up for her return to the stage over Memorial Day Weekend. Beyoncé will play three nights at the new $2.4 billion beachfront resort Revel in Atlantic City. Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday, April 6.
“Strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business…”
The Creole Gods have spoken, Beyoncé is returning to the stage!
