Estelle celebrated the release of her third album, All of Me, with several high-profile TV appearances Tuesday (Feb. 28). Kicking off her TV promo run, the UK songstress stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to perform the Akon-penned “Thank You.” After changing into an elegant white gown, Estelle took the stage on The Late Show with David Letterman for a second performance of the empowering breakup anthem. Of the two performances, her set on ‘Letterman’ was the strongest. “Thank You” is easily the best song in Estelle’s catalog; too bad she couldn’t convey the emotion from the studio version of the track into a live performance. Watch the performances below.
Estelle enlists the services of Busta Rhymes for the remix to “Thank You,” the second single from her third album, All of Me. Dropping a hot 16 on the Akon-written cut, Busta Rhymes makes an already hot song even hotter. Listen below, and be sure to check the album when it arrives in stores Feb. 28.
VH1 targets the R&B/Hip-Hop market for the new season of Behind the Music. Aiming to touch on the impact R&B/Hip-Hop has had on the “millennial generation,” the new season will feature Pitbull, Game, T-Pain, Brandy, Akon and Nas.
Estelle steps her game up in the music video for “Thank You,” the second official single from her third album All of Me, due February 28. The British-born diva walks away from a relationship after she realizes she is being cheated on by her love interest, played actor Tracey Dukes. Definitely feeling this song and video for Estelle. Good job. Watch the Iren Sheffield-directed clip below.
